We offer a comfortable environment with the most advanced equipment. From incontinence to kidney stones, our urologic specialists can help.

Cystoscopy

An examination of the urethra and bladder is a cystoscopy. To look inside the bladder, urologists use a cystoscope, a small tube with a camera on the end. This procedure is performed for those with bladder issues, frequent UTIs, or an overactive bladder. Local anesthesia is used for this procedure. If your doctor needs to test for bladder tumors, stones, or cancer, he/she can take a biopsy. It is normal to have some burning or difficulty urinating for a few days after the cystoscopy.

Male-Centered Procedures

For men, we provide specialized procedures such as scrotal surgery and vasectomies. Scrotal surgeries are used to treat diseases such as hydrocele (the collection of fluid around the testis) and epididymal cysts. Another common male procedure we offer is a vasectomy or male sterilization. It is a simple surgery that involves the blocking of the vas deferens — the small tubes that carry sperm in the scrotum. After the surgery, light activity is limited for 2-3 days and heavy activity is limited for approximately one week.
